Dr J. is double board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
Dr Jazarevic completed surgical residency at Lankenau Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA and fellowship at S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook University, NY. Dr J. is a consummate clinical surgeon with vast wartime and peacetime surgical experience for over 26 years and over ten thousand major operations. Dr Jazarevic’s private practice expertise focuses on vascular surgery and abdominal cancer surgery. In the capacity of Trauma Medical Director he focuses on trauma and surgical critical care.
Dr. Jazarevic holds membership in some of the most prestigious national and international surgical societies. He is fellow of the American College of Surgeons, fellow of the International College of Surgeons, fellow of the International Endovascular Society, fellow of the American Association for Surgery of Trauma, Society of Abdominal Surgeons, FMA and numerous other medical societies and organizations. He is member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. He speaks seven languages fluently.
Dr J. has been a resident of South Florida since 1992. He and his wife Lori are proud parents of little Gabriella. |


Dr Jazarevic is a highly decorated veteran and Colonel in the United States Army. His distinguished military career spans over more than 2 decades. His last active duty assignment was the Director of Clinical Operations for Operation Iraqi Freedom in Baghdad, Iraq.
